The silver lining to all of this is that some of us who lived frugally through the 2000s are acquiring properties on the cheap. I'm not saying this to rub it in, but it's not all doom and gloom.

Anyone who votes for Fiorina is a fool. Her lack of leadership and vision just about killed HP under her tenure. I wouldn't want to imagine the damage she will do in government.

So your point is to give money to 'poor' or less fortunate people because they are less fortunate? If that were the case I'd quit my job so I can get free money too.

To add to my argument is from my experience the highest paid persons were almost always the best producers and that is the bottom line. We're not paid to form alliances and friendships in the workplace; we're there to produce a supply and encourage demand.

I have never believed in the glass ceiling and I've been on both sides of the coin in both management and non-management at medium to large corporations. I have never, ever, ever heard that there was intention to pay a woman less than a peer male.

Isn't it the nature of life to assume younger generations have it easier than you? Seems like the case to me. That said I would agree that I think teenagers and early 20s adults might have been victimized by the self esteem movement in the 80s and 90s.
